Tahasil Portal Odisha: Online Revenue Services Explained

Services you can apply for online

The home page of Odisha Revenue Services lists these online services (labels as shown on the portal):

• Apply for Mutation
• Apply for Conversion of Agricultural Land U/s 8(A) of OLR Act

It also has "Download Receipt", "Application Status" and "Payment Status" buttons, and a "Department Login" for officials. No citizen login is shown. A separate index page (LandRecordServices.html) groups services into Land Record Services, Certificate Services, Registration Services (which point to igrodisha.gov.in) and Other Services, with procedure PDFs.

Official fee table

From the official fee structure page. For mutation, the procedure says payment is online through the Odisha Treasury portal.

How an online tahasil application works

The official mutation procedure shows the pattern. Other services may use similar screens; follow the labels you see.

1. Open https://odisharevenueservices.nic.in/home.aspx and pick the service, for example "Apply for Mutation".
2. Enter applicant details: name, father's or husband's name, addresses, PIN and mobile number. SMS alerts go to this mobile.
3. Enter land details: tahasil, village, khata no., plot no. and area. Take these from your RoR.
4. Upload documents, for example a registered sale deed.
5. Submit and note the application number. You need it for every dealing with the Tahasil.
6. Pay through "Make Payment" (net banking or debit/credit card via the Odisha Treasury). Save the Acknowledgement-cum-Payment Receipt.
7. The Tahasildar checks the documents and institutes the case. You get an SMS. After that, follow the case on DWIST.

If money is debited but no receipt shows, use "Payment Status" with your Transaction Id before paying again.

Finding your tahasil's DWIST page and contacts

DWIST gives each of Odisha's 317 tahasils a website in English and Odia, with the Tahasildar's contact details and cause lists (hearing lists). The Bhulekh "Contact Us" page links to it under "Concerned Tahasildar".

• Open http://dwistodisha.nic.in/ and choose your district, then your tahasil.
• Check the cause list before a hearing date.
• Use the listed contacts for questions about your own case.

What still needs the Tahasil office

• Certified copy of RoR: from the Tahasil office or a CSC under e-District. See the certified copy guide.
• Hearings: if your case appears on the tahasil's cause list on DWIST, attend on the listed date.
• Corrections: errors in name, area or kisam in the RoR.
• Field work: demarcation is applied for online but is, by its nature, carried out on the ground.

Officials use logins such as "RI Login for Demarcation"; citizens do not need them (see RI login explained). This site cannot apply on your behalf and never asks for documents.
